About Us
Dr. Carla Rasmussen
Dr. Carla Rasmussen graduated from Iowa State University and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Gig Harbor since she graduated in 1989. She was able to fulfill her professional goal by opening Harbor Animal Hospital on November 1st, 2005.
When not at the animal hospital, Dr. Rasmussen enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her two sons with their numerous sports activities.
Dr. Beth Owen
Dr. Beth Owen graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 and joined the Harbor Animal Hospital team last spring. Her professional journey has included owning two veterinary hospitals in California, but she is happy to now call Gig Harbor and Harbor Animal Hospital her home.
Dr. Owen and her family enjoy the many outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
